Minister Jerome Hsu
[Picture to come] Jerome was born in Los Angeles but grew up in the Bay Area and considers northern California his true birth place.  He graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature (English and French) in 1994, spent a year working at an art store after graduation, and received a Master's degree at San Francisco State University in English Composition in 1998. Jerome then worked as a project coordinator and grants administrator for four years at California Campus Compact on the San Francisco State University campus before pursuing his Master's in Divinity from Western Seminary in northern California, where he graduated in June 2010. Although Jerome had been serving at HOC3 throughout his seminary years, he officially joined the HOC3 staff in August 2010.

Jerome currently teaches adult Sunday school.  In addition to his teaching on Sundays, he also participates in the Thrusday night young adult group and the Friday night adult group.

Jerome has been married to his wife, Marian, since August 7, 1999 and has 4 sons: Noah (born 8/8/2002), Judah (born 11/11/2004), Tobiah (born 8/11/2007), and Zephaniah (born 2/14/2011).  He enjoys riding his bike, eating burgers, drinking Coke, and is determined, in the very near future, to play the ukelele competently while astride his unicycle.

Minister John Vo
[Picture to come] John grew up in Pacoima, CA, and graduated from UC Riverside in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Math.  He also did a brief stint in the Army National Guard for 3 years while attending college.  Afterward, John enrolled in CSU Long Beach to pursue his Master's in Math.   It was a year into his program that John felt God calling him to serve Him in ministry, so John took a leap of faith by discontinuing his Master's in Math program to pursue a Master's in Divinity at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley, CA.  While in seminary, John served as an Intern Pastor at Community Christian Alliance Church in Northridge, CA, where he co-led the Jr. High ministry for two years, and the college and young adult ministries for one year.  He graduated from the Master's Seminary in December 2010, and came to serve at HOC3 in January 2011.

John currently serves as the youth pastor overseeing both the high school and Jr. high ministry, but specifically speaks for the High school group Friday nights.  In addition to Friday nights, John also preaches on most Sundays out of the year and disciples how ever many people he can.

John has been married to his wife, Kristen, for 2 years and is the proud (sometimes) owner of a one year old dog named Jonah.  He enjoys spending time with his wife, watching movies, drinking boba milk tea, eating nachos, and if he has time working out!  John is new to the bay area and loves the people, but can't stand the cold weather.  He wishes the weather could be around 85 degrees!
